Policies

At The Local Parlor, we understand that things happen and that life can be hard to keep track of. Your time is valuable to us, and we hope ours is to you. We ask at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment.
Please Note:
Credit card information is saved upon booking. An appointment considered to be a “No-Show” or that is cancelled less than 24 hours is subject to a charge equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Salon members are given one (1) grace appointment a year for last-minute scheduling changes, cancellations, or no-shows.
If you arrive 15 minutes late for your appointment, our schedule may not allow us to perform service. Every attempt to reschedule will be made. If we are unable to get ahold of you within the 15 minutes, it will be considered a “No-Show” and your card will be charged for 50% of the service scheduled.
We require a 50% deposit upon booking lengthy appointments like extensions or Brazilian Blowouts. If you need to cancel, the appointment must be rescheduled within 48 hours upon booking for deposit reimbursement.
We value your time and feel it fair to honor the same policies we hold to our clients. Should The Local Parlor need to cancel on a client due to any reason within 24 hours we will honor the one grace period for ourselves and if another cancelation follows, you will receive 50% off your next identical service.

Services received cannot be refunded. We will gladly adjust any service you receive within 3 days of your service. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your hair can be visually inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist who performed the initial service, at no additional charge to you.
Refunds for products will only be considered if presented within 7 days of purchase. Products can only be fully refunded if unused and in its original packaging. If a product is opened or used, you will receive a 50% refund. Refunds can only be processed with a receipt.
No refunds are given for gift card orders. Gift card orders are not exchangeable.

To reserve your first visit with us, we require a 50% deposit. This helps protect your time and our stylists’ time so we can be fully prepared for you.
Your deposit is applied to your service total at checkout. Need to adjust your appointment!
You’re welcome to reschedule or cancel with 24+ hours’ notice for a full deposit transfer or refund.
